Hello, my name is Stefani Ward, and I am the founder of Rewarding Wellness, LLC. I live in Chester County, Pennsylvania with my family and our adorable black lab mix pup. I am a competitive Powerlifter, and dedicate some time each day to my training and nutrition goals. I love everything about lifting: the structure, the clear goals, and how progress is defined by small, achievable goals. I am an avid gardener, and spend much of my free time with my hands in the dirt, growing entirely too many tomatoes for my family and neighbors. My third passion is painting, but not on canvas - on furniture! I am a dedicated trash-picker and truly love refurbishing tired old furniture into something new and beautiful again. My intent is always to sell the pieces I transform, but somehow they always manage to find a place in my house. I promise, I am working on it. I love comedy, whether it is movies, TV shows, or stand-up, and humor plays a huge role in my work and daily life. I have always believed that rapport, or a personal connection with your clients, is the single greatest predictor of success, and it is important to me that my clients feel as though they know who I am personally.
Professionally, I graduated from Lehigh University in 2004 with a B.A. in Psychology, and then went on to obtain a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology as well as a law degree (J.D.) from Widener University in 2010. I am a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT), Certified Nutrition Coach, and am working toward a Group Exercise Instructor Certification as well (2025). I worked for many years throughout graduate school and beyond in the Autism Community, as a Therapeutic Staff Support and a Mobile Therapist for children on the Autism spectrum. I then went on to work with adults with Autism as a Behavior Health Specialist, supporting adults in meeting their individual goals at home and in their communities. From there, I worked as a Resident Psychologist at two group practices in Chester County, specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders, Autism Spectrum disorders, ADHD, and depression, as well as Psycho-Educational assessment.
Like many of you, I found my work and home life to be tremendously impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic. As difficult as it was to transition from working in the office to working fully at home, it taught me the true importance of finding balance. As difficult as it was to do, I made the decision to retire from the traditional therapy practice to focus on a virtual practice that could serve more individuals with a broader range of needs. It also gives me more flexibility and time to support my family and manage my household, which also means I have more time for you! Coaching is not therapy, but it offers the benefits of increased flexibility and more open communication. In 2026 I will be launching my Client Portal, which will give clients access to support in between monthly sessions via weekly check-ins! So many of us thrive on external accountability, and sometimes all we need is the knowledge that someone else cares whether we accomplish our daily tasks. I truly want to see you succeed and am here to help you remain calm, focused, and balanced. Please take the first step and send me an e-mail to see if coaching is right for you. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me, and I look forward to getting to know a lot about you!
